Privacy Policy
Effective / last updated: 20 July 2026 · Streamflex by RA Apps LTD
This Privacy Policy explains how RA Apps LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use the Streamflex iOS application and our related marketing website at https://streamflex.raapps.site (a product site of raapps.site) (together, the “Service”).
Please also read our Terms of Use and Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
1. Who we are (data controller)
Controller: RA Apps LTD
Company number: 17027556
Company type: Private limited company (Active)
Incorporated: 11 February 2026
Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX
Product: Streamflex
Privacy / support contact:
support@raapps.site
For the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, RA Apps LTD is the controller of personal data processed for Streamflex, except where a third party (for example Apple or TMDB) processes data as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.
2. Scope & product description
Streamflex is a movie and TV discovery / streaming guide. It helps users search titles, view metadata, and see OTT “where to watch” listings. Streamflex does not stream, host, or play full audiovisual content and does not provide a VPN or circumvention tool.
- Free features: discovery/details and availability listings for the user’s current region/country.
- Premium (optional): multi-region availability information via Apple In-App Purchase (typically US$1.99 per month with a 7-day free trial where offered). Premium does not unlock video content.
This Policy applies to the iOS app and the marketing website. It does not apply to third-party streaming services you open from Streamflex (e.g. Netflix), which have their own privacy policies.
3. Categories of data we process
We process the following categories, depending on how you use the Service:
3.1 Data you provide directly
- Support communications: if you email us, we process your email address, message content, and any attachments needed to respond.
- In-app preferences: settings you choose (for example preferred UI options) stored on your device as needed for the app to work.
We do not operate a Streamflex registration account that stores your name/password for login.
3.2 Data processed when you use the app
- Region/locale signals: device region or locale used to select free-tier availability for “your country”. We use this to deliver the feature, not to sell a location advertising profile.
- Search and title interaction data: search queries and selected title identifiers necessary to return TMDB results and availability lists (sent to those data providers as part of the request).
- Purchase entitlement data: from Apple (StoreKit / App Store), limited data such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and subscription status needed to unlock or restore Premium. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Technical request data: when the app calls third-party APIs (e.g. TMDB), those providers may process standard technical data such as IP address under their own policies.
3.3 Data we do not collect (not in the app)
- Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar third-party analytics SDKs
- OneSignal or other third-party push-notification SDKs
- OTT platform usernames or passwords (Netflix, Disney+, etc.)
- Government ID numbers
- Precise continuous GPS tracking for advertising
- Payment card PAN/CVV (handled by Apple for IAP)
4. Third-party services (complete stack)
Streamflex integrates only the following categories of third-party technology (as configured in the app):
| Service | Purpose | Typical data | More info |
|---|---|---|---|
| TMDB API | Movie/TV catalogue (search, details, images, ratings metadata) | API requests; TMDB may process IP and technical logs | TMDB Privacy |
| JustWatch-related availability | OTT where-to-watch listings by region | Title/region queries for informational listings | Third-party listing accuracy not guaranteed |
| Apple | App distribution, StoreKit billing, trial/subscription | Apple ID purchase records; we receive entitlement status | Apple Privacy |
Streamflex does not integrate Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, OneSignal, or similar third-party analytics or push-notification SDKs.
Streamflex uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Display of third-party brand names does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
5. How we use personal data
- Provide discovery, details, and regional / multi-region availability information
- Authenticate Premium entitlement and free trial status via Apple
- Respond to support and exercise/defend legal claims
- Comply with law and App Store platform requirements
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and technical misuse
We do not sell personal data and do not use Streamflex to sell access to pirated streams.
6. Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on:
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to provide the features you request (search, details, free/Premium availability info, restore purchases).
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): security, supporting the Service, and defending legal claims — balanced against your rights.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): where required (for example if we later request optional OS permissions; we do not currently use third-party push SDKs).
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): where we must retain or disclose information by law.
7. Sharing of personal data
We share data only as needed with:
- The processors/providers listed in section 4
- Professional advisors (legal, accounting) under confidentiality where required
- Authorities if required by valid legal process
- A buyer or successor in a corporate transaction, with appropriate safeguards
We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration.
8. International transfers
Providers such as TMDB and Apple may process data outside the UK/EEA (including the United States). Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (for example Standard Contractual Clauses) and their published compliance programs. See each provider’s documentation for details.
9. Retention
- Support emails: retained as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable follow-up period, then deleted or anonymised unless we must keep them longer for legal claims.
- Purchase entitlement records: retained as needed to restore Premium, prevent fraud, and meet accounting/tax/legal requirements.
- Catalogue/API requests: not retained by us as a user profile; processed to fulfil your in-app request via third-party providers under their policies.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including use of reputable platform providers (Apple, TMDB infrastructure as applicable) and least-privilege access practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. Children’s privacy
Streamflex is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum digital consent age in your country, which may be up to 16 in some EU states). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact support@raapps.site and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Parents/guardians should use Apple’s parental controls and Family Sharing settings as appropriate. Availability data may include titles that are unsuitable for minors; the app is a general audience guide tool.
12. Your rights & choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase data (“right to be forgotten”) in certain cases
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
UK: Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk. You may also have rights under US state laws (e.g. California) to know, delete, or opt out of “sale”/“sharing” as defined by those laws. We do not sell personal information as commonly defined.
How to exercise rights: email support@raapps.site. We may need to verify your request. Because we do not run user accounts, we may only be able to act on data tied to an email you used for support or technical identifiers you can help us identify.
Device choices:
- Manage subscriptions: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- Uninstall the app to stop on-device processing by Streamflex
- Use iOS privacy settings for any system-level controls that apply to your device
13. Apple App Store Privacy labels
On the App Store product page we publish “App Privacy” labels describing data that may be collected. Those labels are intended to align with this Policy. For Streamflex’s current stack (no Firebase Analytics, no OneSignal), typical categories may include:
- Purchases (subscription status via Apple)
- Data used for app functionality (e.g. search/title requests to catalogue providers as needed to operate the app)
We do not use third-party analytics or push SDKs in the current app. If practices change, we will update App Privacy labels and this Policy.
14. Marketing website & cookies
The Streamflex marketing website is available at
https://streamflex.raapps.site
(subdomain of RA Apps LTD’s site raapps.site).
It is primarily static (HTML/CSS/JS). It may use browser localStorage
to remember your language preference. Hosting providers may process standard server logs (IP address,
user-agent, timestamps) for security and operations. We do not intentionally run third-party advertising cookies
on the marketing site as designed. If hosting adds analytics later, this section will be updated.
